ShowcaseCentennial High School in Roswell, GA opened its doors in August, 1997. The band program currently includes a marching band with color guard (formerly a dance team), concert band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble. The bands are directed by James Warner (Director of Bands), David Giddens (Assistant Director), Rachel Freeman (Assistant Director, Marching Band), and Colleen Surette (Assistant Director and Woodwind Coordinator).
The 2006-2007 season saw the marching band and dance team performing in several competitions as well as the Old Soldier's Day Parade in Alpharetta, GA, Youth Day Parade in Roswell, GA, Festival of Trees Parade in Atlanta, GA and the Gator Bowl Parade in Jacksonville, FL. In 2007-2008, the band will be performing in several parades (Old Soldier's Day, Roswell Youth Day, Festival of Trees) and competitions. For the first time, the band will be marching with a color guard, instead of a dance team.
